1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Echelon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Echelon. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features of Echelon. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not use another person's account without permission. You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to: upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content; impersonate any person or entity; violate any applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems; or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these standards.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Echelon and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. User-generated content (such as campaign names and narrative text) remains the property of the respective users; by posting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and store it within the Service.

Warhammer 40,000 and all associated names, marks, and imagery are the intellectual property of Games Workshop Ltd. Echelon is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echelon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
