It depends on whether the new bill is bigger or smaller than the one you have now. A bigger bill starts straight away: you are charged for the new plan now, less credit for the unused part of your current one. A smaller bill waits until the period you have paid for ends, and you keep your current plan until then. So Supporter to Commander, or monthly to annual, happens now. Commander to Supporter, or annual to monthly, waits. Changing plan replaces the subscription you have rather than adding a second one. You can still end up with two if you pay in two checkout tabs opened at the same time, so if you ever see two plan charges, message me on Discord or by email and I'll cancel the extra one.

Yes. Stripe handles all billing, and Echelon never sees or stores your card details. Stripe is certified PCI DSS Level 1, which is the strictest level in payments.

Talk to your bank. A declined card is almost always the bank's decision, and only the bank can change it. Banks outside the UK sometimes block a first payment to a UK business as suspected fraud. Approve the payment in your banking app, or reply to the alert your bank sent, then try again. Another card works too. Your plan does not change until a payment goes through. A Supporter or Commander payment appears on your bank statement as SQLSQUARED* ECHELON. SQL Squared is the company I run Echelon through.

They stay. Avatars, roster banners and unit photos you have already uploaded remain stored and visible in your campaigns. You just cannot upload new ones, or go past the free tier's limits, until you resubscribe.

Yes. Both Supporter and Commander memberships auto-renew, monthly or annually, whichever you chose. You can switch plan or cancel renewal at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal.

You can host 1 active campaign at a time, and join as many campaigns as you like as a player. There is no limit on the joining side. Completed campaigns move to your archive after 7 days (30 for Supporter, and Commander never auto-archives) and stay there permanently, read-only. Nothing is ever deleted.

14 days, no questions asked, on a Supporter or Commander payment, first one or any renewal. Message me on Discord or by email and I'll process it straight away. Your account reverts to the Free tier the moment it goes through. You can also just cancel instead, and keep the plan until the period you've paid for ends. Coffees work differently: they're a gift rather than a purchase, they buy no features, and they aren't refundable. The full Refund Policy has the detail.
