Does Echelon work offline at tabletop gaming venues?
No. Installing keeps the app's own files on your device so they are not downloaded again every time, but your campaigns, rosters and scores live on Echelon's server. They need a connection to load, and anything you enter needs one to save. A page you already have open keeps showing what it last loaded, so if the signal at your venue is poor, open the battle while you still have it and note on paper anything you enter after it drops.
Will installing the PWA take up storage space on my phone?
Not much. The app's own code is a few megabytes. Images you look at, such as unit photos and campaign banners, are kept on the device too, so the total grows the more you use it. Clearing Echelon's site data in your browser or phone settings removes all of it and signs you out. Your campaigns are kept on Echelon's server, so nothing else is lost.
