Agendas & Mustering
Before a Crusade match you muster your force from your Order of Battle and pick your Agendas. Agendas are secondary objectives you set yourself, and they pay out bonus XP when a unit completes them. They are the main way a unit earns XP beyond simply turning up.
You need an Order of Battle before you can muster.
An Agenda is yours: you write it, you pick it, you report it. If the objective was handed to you by the Campaign Host and carries a reward the host decides on, that is a Mission, which works the other way round in every respect.
Mustering Forces for Battle
The Campaign Host schedules the battle and sets its Points Target. You muster into it.
- Open the battle from your campaign's Stages page.
- On the Units tab, check off units from your Order of Battle until your total is within the battle's points target. Units are grouped by role, the same grouping your Order of Battle uses.
- Assign Enhancements and attach any Leaders to their bodyguard units.
- In the Current Muster panel, use Assign Transport for any unit riding into battle, and Deploys to set where a unit starts: Battlefield, Deep Strike or Strategic Reserves.
- Pick your Agendas on the Agendas tab, then click Ready Up.
A few things about that fourth step, because they are easy to trip over:
- A unit that cannot Deep Strike is never offered it.
- A unit riding in a transport starts wherever the transport starts, and so does the Leader attached to it. You set the zone once, on the transport.
- A transport carries one unit. Echelon does not check how many models fit, so the capacity is yours to keep track of.
- If more than half your points start in Strategic Reserves, the line turns red. That is a reminder, not a block: detachment rules and stratagems can put you over it legitimately, and Echelon would rather record the army you actually brought.
Selecting Agendas
Each player can select up to three Agendas per match:
- In the mustering screen, open the Agendas tab.

- Filter Agendas by category:
- Purge the Enemy: Focuses on destroying specific enemy unit types (e.g. Marked for Death).
- Questing / Lore: Focuses on holding objectives or exploring terrain (e.g. Search for Relics).
- Faction Agendas: Custom narrative Agendas tailored to your faction keyword.
- Select your Agendas and click Ready Up.
Agendas in Live Companion
During tabletop play, your chosen Agendas will appear pinned to the top of your Live Battle Companion tracker, allowing you to log progress counters on the fly.
