Campaign Administration Lifecycle

Campaign Leaderboard Overview showing player standings and alliance scores

Step 1: Campaign Setup Settings

When creating or editing a campaign from the Host Dashboard, configure the following core fields:

  • Campaign Title: The official public name of your league (e.g. The Siege of Baal).
  • Game System: Warhammer 40,000 Crusade (10th/11th Edition).
  • Initial Supply Limit: Starting point allowance for new players (Default: 1,000 pts).
  • Victory Point Formula: Choose how campaign standings are ranked:
    • Total Match Wins: Ranked by win/loss/draw record.
    • Campaign Points: Custom points earned per victory + agenda bonuses.
    • Territorial Control: Faction alliance score tracking.

Step 2: Alliance & Faction Teams (Optional)

For multi-player narrative wars, you can organize players into opposing Factions or Alliances (e.g., Imperium, Chaos, Xenos):

  1. Open your campaign and click Campaign Settings > Alliances.
  2. Click + Add Alliance.
  3. Name the alliance (e.g. Defenders of Baal) and pick an accent color.
  4. Assign joined players to their respective alliances.

Standings will now display both individual player rankings and overall Alliance dominance meters.

Step 3: Auditing Battle Logs

Hosts can review and edit all matches submitted within the campaign to resolve errors:

  1. Navigate to Battle Logs.
  2. Click on any match entry to view round-by-round score breakdowns, Agenda completions, and casualty rolls.
  3. Click Edit Log to correct VP scores, kill counts, or participant lists.

Archiving & Deleting Campaigns

Archiving a Concluded Campaign

When your narrative campaign finishes, move it to archived status to freeze leaderboards while keeping battle history accessible for all participants:

  1. Go to Campaign Settings > General.
  2. Click Archive Campaign.
  3. The campaign will remain read-only in player campaign histories.

Deleting a Campaign

  1. Go to Campaign Settings > General.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone and click Delete Campaign.
  3. Type the campaign title into the verification box and click Confirm Permanent Deletion.

Data Loss Warning

Deleting a campaign permanently removes all stage records, alliance standings, and logged battle histories for all participants.
