Exporting and Printing Your Force
A Crusade that only exists on a screen is awkward to bring to a table and impossible to keep once the campaign is over. The export lays out your whole force sheet, every Crusade Card on it, and the chronicle of the battles it has fought, as one document you can print or save.
Exporting is a Supporter feature. Reading and editing your Crusade stays free on every tier, and so does keeping it after the campaign is archived. What the paid tiers add is the printed copy.
Making one
- Open your force from the campaign page.
- Open the ⋯ menu on the force banner, then click Export or Print.
- Read the document over. This is exactly what comes out.
- Click Save as PDF.
That last step opens your browser's print dialogue rather than downloading a file straight away. Choose Save as PDF as the destination to keep a copy, or pick a printer to put it on paper. On a phone the same button reaches the share sheet, where Print and Save to Files both appear.
What goes in
Everything on the force sheet, in the order the app shows it:
- The force's name, faction, campaign, and the player it belongs to
- Supply used against your Supply Limit, your battle record, Requisition Points, and total XP and Crusade Points
- Detachments and their rules, plus your faction's army rules
- Every Crusade Card in your Order of Battle, with its rank, experience, wargear, Battle Honours, Battle Scars and notes
- Agendas, Enhancements, Battle Traits, Relics, Stratagems, and any codex or house rules you have added
- Your Record of Achievement
- Every battle you have fought, with its date, stage, mission, result and narrative
Sections you have not filled in still print, and say they are empty. A force with no Relics yet is a force with no Relics, and a document that quietly dropped the heading would read as one that had failed rather than one with nothing to say.
Agendas and Relics are campaign settings. Where the host has switched either off, that section does not appear at all.
Best Practice
Print it at the end of a stage rather than the end of the campaign. The chronicle is the part that grows, and a copy per stage is a better record than one at the finish.
Finished and archived campaigns
The export works at any point in a campaign's life, including after it has been completed or archived. That is most of the point of it: the keepsake matters most once the Crusade is over.
What this is not
This is a document to read, not a data file. It does not produce JSON, .ros, or any other format another app can open, and there is no way to bring an exported force back into Echelon or into a list builder.
